I decided to donate my hair…again. I’ve been growing it out
for about two years and have successfully donated to Wigs For Kids. I really
enjoy this process. I love getting that big chop. It’s so shocking! This time I
went shorter than the last time and I love the style! Of course, I have to
actually spend time every morning making it look decent. Once about one year of
growth hits, I just go with a pony-tail everyday. I grew up with hair down to
my butt until I was in high school. Even then, I didn’t go shorter than
shoulder-length. These days, I kind of prefer the soccer mom thing. I don’t
like calling it that, but it’s kind of what it is. I’m glad that I did it again
and fully plan on growing it back out for round three in another couple of
years or so. It’s nice knowing that some kid somewhere is getting a wig because
I donated.
