I can't believe it. I'm actually blogging two days in a row. If you haven't noticed I've been failing at blogging lately. It's a mood thing. You have blogging ups and blogging downs. I was on a significantly obvious blogging down. Anyhow, back to the subject. The Wiggles! Does my genuine excitement for them come off too strong for a grown adult? Yes? Oh well. I guess I'll stop raving about the wonderful people they are and the many ways they help children around the world...at least for the moment. So off we go now...
The tour this year is in celebration of their 20th birthday. 20 years...wow! I can't believe these guys were around when I was 12 years old. Fun fact: Sam (The yellow one) is the same age as me. :-) well...he's a few months older, but you get the point. Here Murray is carrying a cake that Anthony is going to steal. The old 'pie in the face' gag is a major hit for kids and Anthony was very good at taking those hits.

A song called "England Swings" is what they are singing here. Alex and Abby love this song.

Anthony showing how healthy his lungs are by playing a native Australian instrument called the didgeridoo. I hope I spelled that right. Very cool instrument.

Captain Feathersword. He's a hoot...totally love this guy.

A classic Wiggles song: Fruit Salad. Here's a fun note: The lady in green on the stage is the winner of the 5th Wiggle contest. I actually was about one click away from entering this contest because you get to go on stage and actually dance with the Wiggles. How awesome would that be? Of course, judging from my inability to walk a straight line when near anyone famous, this could have ended badly if I'd actually won. Of course, at the end of the song Anthony said, "Give a blueberry a hug!" (He's dressed as a blueberry.) Josh pointed at me and laughed saying, "Awww honey! You missed out on
that?? That's gotta suck!" Oh well, congrats to the lucky winner! She did great. Another case of coulda, shoulda, woulda...grrrr...

Here, Captain is telling Jeff's stand-in, Brad, how to do successful improv. We laughed so hard. Well done Brad! Jeff is surely proud of you! That's got to be some pressure filling in the shoes of the Wiggle who's never missed a show until now.

Sam: aka...Alex's hero. I was sad when Alex went into defensive mode at the time Sam walked into the audience. He so looked forward to giving his yellow rose to Sam. Abby did it for him and he regretted it later. On the up side, this guy has an amazing voice. If anyone is looking for some birthday gift ideas for me, he has a solo album called Colour of Love. It's an import though so is waaaay too expensive for me.

Dost mine eyes deceive me?? Is that...*
gasp*...me?? In a photo?? Yup...huh...I look way too happy here, don't I? You should have seen me groovin' to Hot Potato. Oh yeah...I've got the moves. I believe Josh took video of it. Comment with cheers and I might even post it for the world to see.

And more to come...
