Naturally, true to form, a lovely little cold bug decided to attach itself to one member of our family just in time for the birthday celebrations. Josh brought home a nice little cold last week. Apparently working on a rooftop in rain and cold temps can lower your immune system. It's not a bad cold...yet. (anyone have some wood to knock on?) So, of course, this nasty little germ spread itself through the house. Well...not all through the house because it hasn't hit me yet. Abby got it first and Alex followed suit within half a day. So now snot is free flowing in from my little monkeys and it couldn't come at a worse time. Alex was sick on his first birthday. He actually was in the hospital with brochiolitis/RSV. So Abby is just following in suit and getting sick on her first birthday. Poor thing. I hope it doesn't make for a bad party. Hopefully by Saturday, the worst will be over. I'm just hoping that Alex doesn't start wheezing. His asthma isn't kind to him during colds. Oh well...that's that and so without further ado, I give you a couple of pictures to enjoy.
