Bio-hazard

If you had any plans on visiting my house soon then cancel them. We have a bit of an issue with a stomach bug this week. Most stomach bugs last 24 hours. Our nasty little strain? Yeah...so far it's going on a week. Alex got his bug on Monday morning and it is now Friday. He is still not at his peak energy level. And poor miss Abby got hit pretty hard last night. I was talking with Mandy this morning and we were laughing (yes...laughing) about how my house is a true bio-hazard zone. Everything that you dread cleaning up has been scrubbed out of my carpet in the last two days. What, you ask? Don't ask. Just use your imagination. Let's just say that a two-year old has very poor aim when it comes to digestive related issues. Poor kids. They just want to go to the park or play outside, but they make it about as far as the backyard when they realize they just don't have it in them. With play dates at a stand still and Josh gone for the week, it's been a rough time for everyone - including ol' mom. Luckily, I've been blessed so far with zero bugs in my drained system so let's hope it stays that way. If this stomach bug goes on any longer in our house, then I'm going to put up yellow caution tape around our house and slap a big bio-hazard sign on our door.
