1 Husband on unemployment
1 Car with no flat tire and a tank of gas
1 NFL Patriots game playing on ESPN in someone's house other than your own
1 Midnight release party of World of Warcraft expansion pack
2 Sleeping children
1 Sleeping wife
Take husbands car and fix flat tire if needed and fill with gas. Send currently unhappy husband to your parents' house* to watch the Patriots game on ESPN. Explain to husband before hand that he should go directly from the game to the nearest midnight release party at his favorite gaming store to pick up his World of Warcraft (a.k.a. 'other wife') expansion pack. Make sure that there are two sleeping children* when he returns. Turn porch light on. Go to bed. Expect to not see your husband's smiling face until well after noon the following day. If you have done all of this correctly then wa-lah! You have one happy unemployed husband. Congratulations and enjoy!
*If your husband is not a Patriots fan, any game of his choosing will also work. But generally anything involving grown men prancing around on a field while beating one another up over a brown pig-skin ball will do just fine. If your parents don't have ESPN or are otherwise not willing to give up said TV, any other house will do providing the house is kid-free and football-friendly.
**If you have more than two children, note that all children must be sleeping.
